Really nicely done up, friendly service, and food was lush (only had the fresh rolls). The full menu is available on Friday 24th May 2024, but large selection of drinks available. Well worth a visit to this up and coming newly owned pub.

Lisa is so welcoming. The chefs food is absolutely stunning! Well worth a visit! Always enjoy eating here because never disappointed! Breakfasts are amazing! Love bringing our family here when they are up to visit. Perfect atmosphere.

Food was fantastic apart from where the cavery is situated they have blocked off the corridor to set the cavery up so small area so we was knocking and elbowing other customers while other customers where queuing in your way for sauces this cavery would be much better put in the corner near the front of the building making that table of 4 somewhere else and have access better for customers to use the toilets that way you don't have to wait over half a hour to be called up for your food felt like your back in school being told when you can have your food but food was delicious when you do get it

We love this place, live locally so may be biased but it's a lovely pub, very welcoming and inclusive, they have great beer lovely food, warm welcome and they're dog friendly. Says they're the heart of the community and that's true, our boy, 2 year old and lively spaniel, even knows the words, pub, pint, Stag and when walking anywhere near the place, pulls to go in, now in my book, that's the greatest seal of approval a pub can get, when the dog knows how to drum up trade.

I'll try to give as honest a review as possible, it's probably not the owners fault but the bar maid disliked our group who went there last night and contacted the owner, who was told bearfaced lies aboutus, subsequently the owner told her to ask us to leave, we were a big friendly group and willing to spend a lot of money, it was extremely disappointing, she had waited until we bought our first drinks to do it and didn't give us time to drink up, it's a nice pub spoilt by the actions of one individual
